LACEY — courtesy listing

Lacey is a 3 year old, female, spayed, Great Dane mix. Beautiful, tall and a gentle giant are all the best ways to describe Lacey. She is super sweet with a friendly personality. It takes her a little while to warm up to strangers, but once she does, you’ll see what a great girl she truly is.

Lacey thought she had found her forever home, however after only one week, she was returned back to the shelter. She was adopted into a home with another dog (a Retriever). Lacey went after their dog and although he was backing down from her, Lacey was not. Lacey’s new home should be one without any other dogs, as we feel she would be much happier as the only dog in the home. We do recommend older children for her as well, only due to her size.

Lacey would love a second chance at finding her forever family. If you think you would like to adopt Lacey, please contact the Gloucester County Animal Shelter at 856-881-2828 x 1 for Adoptions. Please ask to speak with Candice.

This courtesy listing was posted in September 2010.

Special requirements: Kids 10 and up only; not good with other dogs; cats unknown.
