Details: Patty of HoundDécor.com is an amazingly talented woman - and when asked if she would be interested in donating to MAGDRL, not only did she say YES - she made us our OWN martingale collars, our OWN sizes and very OWN webpage! Be sure to enlarge/click on the pictures!! If you have never tried a martingale - unless you truly have a dog walking problem - I urge you to try them.... Martingale Collars are "Soft Choker Type" Collars. They do not Chafe the neck like Choke Chains & are better on skin and neck than a chain and more secure than a snap collar. They are VERY effective for Large Dogs, Dogs that Pull, Sighthounds, Whippets, Greyhounds, and Small Dogs that pull. (not for super serious pullers). The "loop" enables the whole collar to decrease in size when the dog pulls. This evenly distributes the pressure, easing strain on your dog's neck and Coat. No Pinching, No Chafing! Martingale Collars will not damage thick coats or necks like choke chains will. If you see a collar listed and the size is "20 - 31", this means that the 1 collar covers all the sizes in between! So no need to worry about a 28" neck not listed.... 20-31 covers the whole gamut in 1 collar (they adjust nicely). |
