Tiny is a 2 and a half year old large male harlequin with natural ears. He is a big puppy with big puppy energy. He is so sweet and loving, bonding very quickly with his foster parents and their 15 year old grandson. He loves chasing balls and doing zoomies in the back yard. Tiny also loves getting a new toy and pulling out the squeakers. He gets so excited when you get home or people come to visit but calms down after about 5 to 10 minutes. He is trustworthy in the house, not requiring a crate and has not been crate trained. He loves to go on walks and enjoy new smells. His foster home has been working on his leash manners and have found the gentle leader works best for him but it is still a work in progress. While on walks, Tiny has met many people nicely and has very gently taken treats from a 4 year old little boy, but he will need older children in the home because he doesn’t understand his size and energy and could knock them down. He’ll play with some dogs but you have to be careful if they’re smaller as he is a very rough player. Tiny is a big leaner that is extremely food and treat motivated. He learning that it is not acceptable to counter surf. He has learned that not begging at the table for food and sitting quietly in the other room gets him a really nice treat. Tiny knows sit, wait and down. He will come and stay when he feels like it. He has no sense of personal space. He’ll gladly lay on the couch with you and use you as his pillow as he rolls and sleeps upside down or he’ll curl up in a ball and fall asleep. Tiny has been in a foster home working on his training for some time now and needs a family who will continue to work on his manners and commands. He has come a long way. Obedience training will be a condition of his adoption. Tiny’s a big goof ball that will be a wonderful addition to a very lucky family. Tiny came to MAGDRL in January of 2020.
