Betty is a 2 year old harlequin Dane with natural ears surrendered to rescue after a hoarding situation.  Betty is an absolute beauty and is doing wonderfully in her foster home. She loves her foster sister, a medium sized lab mix and they get along so well, they are great playmates!  Betty is house trained and no longer needs to be crated when her foster mom goes out.  She is crate and leashed trained.  Betty did have cherry eye surgery that did not totally resolve the cherry eye issue and may need to be repeated in the future, but for now it is not slowing her down or affecting her vision.  Betty was first in a home with a male and female Dane but never really liked the male Dane and they began having issues.  She was then in a foster home as an only dog and it was discovered she definitely missed the companionship of another canine.  She has blossomed in her current foster home and seeks her foster sister for confidence.  She is doing well with commands and leash walking.  Continuing her training with a basic obedience class with be a requirement of her adoption.  She will make a wonderful addition to the right home.

Betty came to MAGDRL in October of 2018.
