Cats: Unknown
Dogs: Good as an only dog or with Large Female
Children: 8+ years old

Update: June 12, 2017

Burley has settled into his foster home nicely.
He has discovered the female Dane in the house is quite fun to play with. And they have become good buddies. Burley is crate trained. Although he has a bad hind leg that didn't develop properly. He runs and plays with his jolly ball or really any ball. He does play rough but will settle down if told. He's good at feeding time but does get a little excited. He does not appear to like small dogs, mostly he doesn’t like when they bark at him. He seems to have a little too much interest in cats.  Burley would be great as an only dog or with a large female dog. He is a true Velcro Dane and follows his foster mom everywhere.
He a sweet good boy who just wants to be loved.

Burley is a 7 year old merlequin male Dane with natural ears who has come back to MAGDRL after his family relocated and started a new family. Burley is very good with small children but when excited could knock them down or step on them so he was returned. Burley is living in a foster home with a senior female Dane. They are still learning each other and while not engaging in much play yet, there have been no issues between them. Burley is a typical velcro Dane who loves his people. He has a bad hind leg that never developed properly and is very arthritic but it does not slow him down. He is a rough player so probably best if not placed in a home with small children or small dogs. He has no history with cats. He has a history of visiting doggie day care frequently so has been well socialized with other dogs. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. He eats his meals near his foster sister with no food aggression issues. His foster home is working on his commands and giving him the structure and boundaries he needs. Burley is a very sweet typical velcro Dane who loves his people. Burley came back to MAGDRL in October of 2016.
